General appointment policies for students, postdocs, and postbacs:

1. Each person is limited to five appointments per academic year.

  • We understand that there are times when more than five appointments may be required. If you feel you may need extra appointments contact us via email or speak with the career counselor with whom you have met.

2. In order to maintain availability, each person can only book one appointment, with one counselor, at a time.

3. Please cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the appointment if you cannot make it. Students and postdocs who fail to cancel their appointments 3 times will be ineligible from accessing appointments for the remainder of that quarter, so please cancel and reschedule.

4. You must bring your UCSF ID to verify your identity at the appointment.
